The eight episodes of the limited series were directed by Jeremy Lovering (Sherlock, Teachers), Catherine Morshead (Downton Abbey, Four Weddings and a Funeral) and (Top Boy, Endeavour).

The One is based on John Marrs’ novel, which offers a terrifying glimpse into potential relationships’ future. The story addresses the concept of “how far would you go to find your perfect match?”.

In addition to all these names, Egypt’s very own Amir El-Masry will also be starring as Ben in The One.
