The Air Rifle and Air Pistol competitions for men were concluded at the Olympic Center in Maadi as part of the activities of the Arab Shooting Championship hosted by Egypt from 2-12 June, with Egyptian champions ranking on the top!
The teams’ competitions had the Egyptian team Sami Abdel Razek, Hafez Gamal, and Yehia Shams, who won first place in the air pistol competitions.
As for the air rifle competitions, Egyptians Osama Mohamed Al-Saeed, Youssef Helmy, and Ibrahim Ahmed won first place in the air rifle competitions.
The 10-meter individual rifle resulted in Youssef Helmy from Egypt winning first place, Mohamed Hamdy from Egypt in second place, and Sultan Saleh from the UAE in third place.
The organizing committee of the championship also announced the results of the men’s teams in the air pistol shooting competitions.
The Arab Shooting Championship included more than 300 male and female shooters from Palestine, Tunisia, Iraq, Qatar, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Kuwait, Mauritania, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Yemen, Libya, the UAE, and Egypt, the host country.
The award ceremony was attended by Major General Hazem Hosni, President of the Egyptian and African Federations and First Vice President of the Arab Federation, Prince Saud bin Khalid bin Abdullah Al Saud, President of the Saudi Federation, Adel Quraish, President of the Libyan Federation, as well as the Technical Committee and the Referees Committee.
