Today, Thursday 12th, marks one year since the launch of Instagram Reels in Egypt, and worldwide, and to mark the occasion Instagram is releasing new insights highlighting some creators that have found their voice on Reels.

Since its launch, Instagram has seen a lot of fun, thumb-stopping content from across the globe on Reels. Anything from food, art, beauty, sport, dance, comedy or music, there’s a song or challenge for everyone.

On top of the many new features introduced since its launch one year ago, Reels is now a platform where businesses and brands have been creatively reaching new heights, and audiences. Recently Instagram announced that after a successful test, ads in Reels are now available worldwide. 

These ads will help businesses reach greater audiences, allowing people to discover inspiring new content from brands and creators. Reels ads are full screen and vertical, similar to ads in Stories, and will appear in between individual Reels.
