A 57-year-old German tourist tragically lost his life during a family holiday in Hurghada after a performer allowed a cobra to crawl up his trouser leg during a live hotel show. The victim suffered a fatal bite and rapidly showed signs of poisoning, eventually going into cardiac arrest.
Despite resuscitation efforts and being rushed to a nearby hospital, he was pronounced dead. This horrific incident adds to a growing list of tourist fatalities in the popular Red Sea resort, following recent shark attacks and a submarine disaster.

Police and public prosecutors in the area are currently investigating the entertainer’s actions and the hotel’s safety protocols while awaiting toxicological results to confirm the exact circumstances of this avoidable tragedy.
