Who is Dina Abdelmoneim, the First Egyptian Woman to Head a Military Factory in Egypt

Dina Abdelmoneim got a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Power and Machines Engineering department and a master’s in automatic control.

She studied at the University of Missouri, the Leadership Program for Governmental Excellence at King’s University in London, and the American University in Cairo.

She started in the military production field as a maintenance engineer in 1998 and was appointed assistant of the minister of military production for development and follow-up. 

Now she is the head of military factory 27, to be the first Egyptian woman to head a military factory in Egypt.

About Shubra Company for Engineering Industries (Military Factory 27)

Shubra Company for Engineering Industries (Military Factory 27) was founded in 1954 to produce the first 100% Egyptian military product, a 9mm ammunition bullet, on October 23, 1954. 

The day became the national military production day.
