With the participation of its first- and second-parts’ stars, Ghostbusters: From Beyond, the fourth part of the highest-grossing film series in the history of the 80’s sci-fi and adventure comedy, was released by AFD in Egyptian theatres and IMAX venues on Wednesday, December 1^st.

Ghostbusters: From Beyond is set 32 years after the ghostbusters successfully defeated the medieval tyrant Vigo, when a single mother and her two kids arrive in a small town in Oklahoma, to discover their connection to the original Ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind.

The new part stars Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, Paul Rudd, in addition to Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts, and Sigourney Weaver from the first and second parts. It is directed by Jason Reitman, who co-wrote it with Gil Kenan, and the writer of the first two parts Dan Aykroyd.

It is also worth mentioning that the third part of this film series was released in 2016 featuring an all-female-cast and following a women team of Ghostbusters in a mission to save the world from the evil spirits.
