A Step Towards a More Modern Education System
According to Minister of Higher Education Ayman Ashour, this expansion isn’t just about building more universities—it’s about raising the quality of education in Egypt. The plan includes:
- New academic programs designed to match real-world job market needs
- Stronger collaboration between national and public universities
- A new administrative structure, including appointing academic leaders, forming international partnerships, and pushing for innovation
What This Means for Students
The bigger question is whether these new universities will actually help improve education and job prospects or if they’re just adding more campuses without real change.
More programs, more opportunities—but is it enough? Let us know what you think.
