Viu, PCCW’s leading pan-regional OTT video streaming service, has aired its latest Arabic Viu Original, Wadi Al-Jinn.

An original concept by the Viu production team executed by iProductions, the fictional series follows four college students who explore the mysterious caves of Wadi Al-Jinn and find themselves in a hidden underworld dominated by evil forces.

Wadi Al-Jinn boasts a leading cast from Egypt, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Syria.

Wadi Al-Jinn features rising stars Youssef Othman, Layla Ahmed Zaher, Roa Channouha and Mohsen Mansour.

The risings stars are supported by prominent actors, including Khaled Kamal, Firas Sa’id, Cynthia Khalifeh, and special appearances for Bushra Rozza.

The series is directed by Egyptian director Hossam El Gohary who successfully brings his imaginative adaptations to audiences’ screens.

The team also includes producer Ramez Atef, art director Hind Haidar, and costume designer Enas Abdullah.

Wadi Al-Jinn’s launch follows the success of a range of other Arabic Viu Original productions such as Ansaf Majaneen, Zodiac, Ana Sherry dot Com, Doon, Wahed Wahed and Hob El Tayebeen.

Viu focuses on creating a slate of original productions across different genres for regional and global audiences to provide quality and entertaining productions throughout the year continuously.

Now streaming exclusively on Viu, the first episode is available for free for all users. In contrast, each episode of the rest of the series will be released every Monday for Viu subscribers.

Viu content can be streamed on www.viu.com and the Viu App on Android and iOS.
