Following its groundbreaking announcement last September in London, New Era Education and the award-winning Moon Hall School UK are proud to announce the official launch of Moon Hall Cairo, Egypt’s first dedicated learning difficulties centre.
Operations will begin June 15th, coinciding with the launch of the centre’s official website and a public educational workshop led by experts from both the UK.

Located within the New Giza Educational Hub, Moon Hall Cairo is set to transform how learning difficulties are understood and supported in Egypt. The centre offers Cairo families access to internationally accredited assessments and tailored interventions backed by Moon Hall UK’s decades of excellence in inclusive education.
“Moon Hall Cairo is not just a centre; it is a commitment to recognising every child’s potential. Through early identification, targeted support, and international best practice, we aim to change lives,”
said Dr. Tamer Tammam, Chairman & Founder of New Era Education.
To mark this milestone, Moon Hall Cairo will host a launch workshop on Sunday, June 15th, bringing together parents, educators, and therapists for a deep dive into learning differences and the services now available locally. The event will feature UK-based specialists from Moon Hall School alongside local experts in education and therapy.
The Moon Hall Cairo Learning Centre will offer:
Speech & Language Therapy
Occupational Therapy
Dyslexia Support & Tutoring
ADHD & Autism Assessments
Educational Psychology Services
Gifted Child Programme
Each service is delivered by a multidisciplinary team of certified professionals using internationally recognised methodologies adapted to the Egyptian context.
“We are thrilled to begin operations in Egypt. Our mission is to bring Moon Hall’s proven approach to students here who deserve every opportunity to thrive,”
said Michelle Catterson, Executive Head of Moon Hall School UK.
The launch follows the signing of a collaboration agreement in September 2024, hosted by H.E. Ambassador Sherif Kamel at the Egyptian Residency in London, and attended by British and Egyptian dignitaries as part of the BEBA trade mission.
The initiative was facilitated by Minerva International Education Ltd and is part of New Era Education’s broader mission to reshape the educational landscape in Egypt through global partnerships. Recent collaborations include the establishment of Uppingham Cairo and the upcoming King’s School Canterbury International College in Egypt.
