Christina Aguilera Remakes Mulan’s Reflection 22 Years Later

90s kids, rejoice! Christina Aguilera has remade your favourite Disney song, “Reflection”, for the live-action version of Mulan. With a significant time between both songs — 22 years to be exact — we grew up, Aguilera, who was only 17 years old when the original version was released, grew up and it’s both wholesome and scary!

“My new rendition of Mulan’s Reflection is out now! I am at a place of new beginnings in my life and set out to embrace the woman I’ve become, having grown up in this business, till now. So this song always resonates and represents exciting and new chapters & energy for me. I hope you enjoy this fresh new take of Reflection,” Christina wrote on Instagram.

In addition to “Reflection” Aguilera released another new song for the movie; Loyal Brave True.

The live-action Mulan movie will be available on Disney+ on September 4.

And just to remind you of how old you’ve become, here’s the old version of Reflection.
