Singer Sandy posted a teaser poster for the song “Ya Helwa” on her social media, where she will be collaborating with Canadian singer Karl Wolf.
This is not their first collaboration, however. The duo collaborated nine years ago through the song “Awel mara atgara’a” in 2012.
The song was a massive success on social media, especially YouTube.
Wolf asked Sandy to collaborate again after the success of the other song, and after a few backs and forth with lyrics and song choices, they finally agreed on “Ya 7elwa.”
According to reports, Sandy rejected a previously suggested song because it was extremely bold, and she wants to stay true to her audience, who are mostly younger Arab audience.
We know we love us a woman who stands her ground!
Sandy’s part of the song “Ya Helwa” is written by Osama Mahrez and composed by Karim Abdel Wahab. As for Karl Wolf’s part, he wrote, composed, and distributed it. Lonely Wolf Music and Glitch Production produce the song.
Sandy recently released her latest lyrical work, “Ezek Al-Naharda,” in which she collaborated with the lyric poet Tamer Hussein.
