Eksar El-Ekte2ab is a campaign created by the Egyptian Psychiatric Association to raise awareness on the challenges of living with depression by taking the time to understand more about the different types of depression and encourage people to get support.

According to recent studies, 25 percent of the Egyptian population is suffering from mental health-related problems. And 20%-30% of patients suffer from treatment-resistant depression, of whom 50% are not diagnosed correctly due to lack of knowledge of the disease and its severity.

The campaign is also providing many ways of help, such as therapy centers, psychiatrists, and posting videos by professionals to better educate society and break the stigma.
