L’Oréal Paris announced that superstar Mona Zaki would be joining the L’Oréal Paris family to become the new media face for the Middle East and North Africa region.
Mona Zaki is considered one of the symbols of art in Egypt.
Mona Zaki is the most prominent star of her generation, as she succeeded, through her work, in being a distinguished role model in the supremacy of women in the field of cinema.
She has a long and successful journey as an Egyptian actress that began at the age of sixteen and participated in more than 60 work with major artists in the Arab world.
During her career, she won many prestigious awards and was recently honoured with the Faten Hamama Award for Excellence during the 42nd edition of the Cairo International Film Festival.
Besides her acting career, Mona Zaki has been a UNICEF ambassador since 2017 and has contributed significantly to raising awareness about many vital issues and participating in many development initiatives.
Her work included campaigns to combat child labour, malnutrition, poverty, and impact, psychological violence against children, and its role in supporting and empowering women in society.
Her women empowerment work included several initiatives such as supporting women with cancer or through their roles that stimulate women’s issues, such as the movie “Deer Blood” and “Scheherazade, Tell Me a Story.”
On this occasion, actress Mona Zaki said:
I am happy with this cooperation because I have always believed that true beauty is a tribute to inner beauty and accept all our differences. It aligns with L’Oréal Paris’ philosophy.
I believe the motto “Because I’m worth it” from L’Oréal Paris is very inspiring for every woman to feel valued.
This is why I am so proud to represent and encourage Arab women on their journey of self-esteem.
This goal has not only been achieved through my cinematic roles, but also by being a ‘voice’ to highlight the stories of inspiring women, as well as transforming those stories into role models that express power, and a path that guides voiceless women!
