Jawaher Alamri: One of the 5 Female Saudi Directors of the Film “Becoming”

We had the chance to speak with one of the film Becoming directors, Jawaher Alamri, during the Cairo International Film Festival.

The Film “Becoming” revolves around 5 shorts coming together under an ‘Untitled Omnibus feature’, led by five Saudi women directors. The tone of the Omnibus feature will be brought together under a unified vision to realize nuanced reflections on women-centered narratives.
