Latorre had travelled to Zamna Music Festival to celebrate her birthday with friend Estefanía Bedoya. Angy Giraldo, a close friend, revealed on TikTok that Latorre had met a womena named Jessi Moreno and two men referred to as “the doctor” and “the Serb” during the festival.

Latorre Met Two Unknown Men at Zamna Music Festival

On April 27, she sent alarming messages to a friend in Barcelona, stating, “They want to do something to us, they want to kidnap us,” and shared her real-time location. Latorre was found horrifically injured in a coma days after crossing paths with the two men, who posed as producers and promised to make them into stars.

She tragically died in a Cairo hospital five days later on May 4th. Her family have since created a GoFundMe to aid in returning the young woman’s body back to her home country and to cover the legal fees to probe her death.

Cairo police have been questioning Latorre’s friend Estefania, who allegedly declined to tell the family what had happened to Latorre. Lattore’s close friend, Giraldo accused Bedoya and Moreno of providing contradictory accounts of the events leading to Ivonne’s hospitalization.

“We cannot continue to allow them to do whatever they want with women,” Giraldo added.
