Some stories make headlines. Others make you question reality. This one does both. A woman appeared on TikTok claiming she’s the secret daughter of former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak and actress Iman El-Toukhy.
As if that wasn’t enough, she also accused actress Wafaa Amer of being involved in illegal organ trafficking connected to the death of footballer Ibrahim Sheka.
It sounds like a badly written drama, but this isn’t fiction. It’s a real chain of events happening on Egypt’s social media right now, and it’s spiraled into something far uglier than viral gossip.
Who Is Marwa Yousry and Why Is She Talking?
The woman making the claims is Marwa Yousry Abdel-Hamid El-Sayed, who began uploading videos to TikTok alleging she was born from a secret relationship between Hosni Mubarak and Iman El-Toukhy.
She then accused Wafaa Amer of being involved in trafficking human organs and somehow linked that to the death of Ibrahim Sheka.
There is no evidence, no documents, no DNA test, no logic—just videos and chaos. And while many brushed her off at first, the story picked up traction, forcing everyone involved to speak out.
Wafaa Amer Responds Publicly and Legally
In her first televised response to the accusations, Wafaa Amer appeared on El-Setat and didn’t hold back. She made it clear that she was furious, hurt, and determined to defend herself.
She started by emphasizing that she’s always supported working-class women and small business owners, especially those starting from nothing. But she firmly denied ever exploiting anyone in return for publicity.
“I challenge anyone to say they came to my house or gave me anything for free. Not even a single bite.”
As for the woman who accused her, Wafaa said she believes she was targeted because of her public image.
“She picked the biggest name she could find on TikTok. I barely show up online unless it’s for a real cause.”
Wafaa also confirmed that legal action is already in progress and that she refuses to remain silent.
“If she claims she’s Mubarak’s daughter, let her bring a DNA test. There’s no such thing. We don’t have bad presidents in Egypt.”
She called on actress Iman El-Toukhy to publicly deny the alleged relationship.
“Why the silence? Even if she’s retired or veiled, she should speak up and say ‘this girl isn’t mine.’”
Wafaa made it clear that this isn’t just about her.
“This is an attack on soft power in Egypt. They think they can break us, but we’re not weak. No one will silence me except death.”
She also criticized the woman’s family, questioning why no one had stepped in.
“Doesn’t she have a single man in her family to pull her aside and tell her to stop? To take her to a hospital?”
Finally, she thanked the Syndicate, her fellow actors, and the Egyptian public for their support, saying the backlash revealed how much love people still had for her. “This isn’t a crisis,” she said. “It’s a gift from God to remind me who I am and what I’ve built.”
The Syndicate and the Lawsuit
The Actors’ Syndicate, led by Dr. Ashraf Zaki, released a public statement in full support of Wafaa Amer. A team of top lawyers has been appointed to follow the case.
At the same time, Wafaa’s lawyer, Haitham Hamdallah, filed a formal lawsuit before Egypt’s Economic Court, citing defamation, slander, spreading false information, and threatening public safety under multiple articles of the Egyptian Penal Code.
He is demanding 100 million EGP in damages to hold the accuser accountable for the emotional and professional harm caused.
With that said, Marwa claims that no one took any legal action.
What Does Wafaa Amer Have to Do with Ibrahim Sheka?
Wafaa Amer has no personal or business connection to the late footballer Ibrahim Sheka. His widow has come forward to confirm that Wafaa’s only involvement was humanitarian. She provided emotional and financial support during his cancer treatment at the family’s request.
Sheka reportedly called her “mama” during his final days. That’s it. No secrets. No crime. Just basic human decency being twisted into something disgusting for clicks.
The Real Tragedy: Let the Man Rest
Wafaa revealed in another interview that Sheka died abandoned. Most of his teammates had unfollowed or blocked him while he was battling cancer. He passed away heartbroken and forgotten. She stepped in because no one else did.
To now accuse her of exploiting his death for something as heinous as organ trafficking is not just wrong—it’s cruel.
This man died. He suffered. He was ignored by many and remembered only now because of a TikTok scandal. This is not just disrespectful. It’s inhumane. Let him rest.
The Bigger Problem
This story started as a TikTok video with no evidence and snowballed into a court case, a media frenzy, and online harassment. And all of it is built on nothing. No one asked for this. No one is enjoying it.
There’s no logic, no structure, and no sense—just viral chaos that spiraled so far that a grieving widow, a veteran actress, and a dead man are now caught in the storm.
This is what happens when conspiracy and clout collide.
This isn’t entertainment. It’s not gossip. It’s not drama worth following. It’s what happens when false claims are left to grow unchecked.
Wafaa Amer is standing her ground. The Actors’ Syndicate is backing her. Legal action is in motion. And as for the rest of us—maybe it’s time to stop giving attention to people who use other people’s grief for clicks.
Let Ibrahim Sheka rest. Let facts matter. And let’s all log off for a second and remember that behind these names are real people with real lives who didn’t sign up for any of this.
