In a new episode of Shai Ba3d ElFetar, Egyptian actress Injy ElMokkadem opens up about her unapologetically nailed role as Aliaa in the series El‑Sett Monalisa. Injy describes Aliaa as a woman who comes from a very difficult background and refuses to accept the poverty she grew up in.
After two failed marriages, the character begins chasing financial security through relationships with wealthy men, fully believing that the end justifies the means. The actress explains that portraying someone from this environment required serious preparation, especially when it came to adjusting her voice and diction to make the character feel authentic. She says the complexity of the role was exciting and challenging, giving her many details to explore as an actor. During the conversation, Injy also shares a glimpse into her Ramadan rituals, what she enjoys watching during the season, and how we see her after last year’s successful appearance in Kamel El‑Adad ++.
