Exclusive: The First Look at the Opening of the Recently Discovered Historical Ain Shams Cemetery

An archaeological tomb dating back to the era of the 26th Dynasty was discovered under a house in Ain Shams neighborhood, known in the past as the city of (Aton), meaning Lord of the Sun.

The Ministry of Interior succeeded in arresting 8 people involved in excavating the tomb and scheming to smuggle the pharaonic sarcophagus outside the country.

The tomb contains a burial chamber with 2:10 meters and a width of 75 centimeters coffin.
