Following the release of Adele’s latest album “30,” she asked Spotify to remove the shuffle button from being the default choice when listeners play albums.
The new option will make listeners stream albums in the same order as the tracklists; from the moment they play any album, the songs will be played in the exact same order that artists chose for their album. You can still choose to shuffle the songs if you prefer it more.
She spoke about the change saying: “Our art tells a story and our stories should be listened to as we intended,” to which Spotify replied “Anything for you.
