For the second consecutive year, the Creative Industry Summit returns with its grand series of awards under the title The People’s Choice Ramadan Awards to honor the top Ramadan TV series and advertisements of 2024. The final list of nominated works and talents has been announced, and the public can now vote for the winners as the ceremony approaches on October 20th.
The People’s Choice Ramadan Awards is a unique platform that celebrates outstanding achievements in Ramadan TV series and advertisements. Through public voting, this one-of-a-kind event highlights the power of audience participation in recognizing the best creative works in the Middle East.
The Creative Industry Summit is the leading platform celebrating the most notable works of the creative industries in Ramadan, a month rich in creativity and uniqueness. The platform has decided to put the audience in the spotlight, giving them the right to honor the stars and talented individuals behind the scenes through their votes, rather than relying on a jury or a panel of experts.
Through this interactive poll, the audience selects works in various categories, including acting, scriptwriting, directing, production, drama and comedy series, and rising talents. As for media, voting takes place in several categories, including comedy ads, emotional ads, best advertising agency, best advertising director, best costume design, best production, and best Ramadan ad.
The second edition of The People’s Choice Ramadan Awards, scheduled to take place on October 20th, has witnessed fierce competition in the audience’s selection of a wide range of best Ramadan TV series and advertisements. The quality and popularity of these entries have made it challenging for audiences to select their favorites, with the voting reaching over 400,000 votes so far.
The four finalists for each award in the drama and comedy series categories from the Ramadan season have been announced. These categories include the award for Best Dramatic Actor, with finalists Karim Abdel Aziz, Essam Omar, Mohamed Shaheen, and Basem Samra. The Best Dramatic Actress award features Salma Abu Deif, Mai Omar, Asmaa Abu El Yazid, and Aisha Ben Ahmed. In the Best Comedy Actor category, the finalists are Sherif Salama, Hisham Maged, Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, and Akram Hosny. For the Best Comedy Actress award, the finalists include Dina El Sherbiny, Asmaa Galal, Aya Samaha, and Rahma Ahmed.”
The four finalists for each award in the advertising category have been announced as well. Competing for the Best Advertising Agency award are Media Hub, Tarek Nour Communications, Synergy, and Circus. For the Best Jingle Writer award, the finalists are Ayman Bahgat Qamar, Aziz El Shafie, Mena Adly El Qeiy, and Tamer Mahdy. In the Best Creative Team category, the finalists are Media Hub, Synergy, Tarek Nour Communications, and Fortune Promoseven Cairo. The Best Creative Director award sees competition among Ashraf Said Nassar, Mohamed Nasif, Mohamed Zohair, and Hussein Diaa. These awards are part of a broader set of categories that honor creativity and excellence in various fields.

Notably, over 110,000 votes were cast by the audience in the first edition of the People’s Choice Ramadan Awards for 2023. The inaugural ceremony featured a number of surprises and heartfelt moments, such as actor Taha El Desouki giving up his award for Best Rising Actor in the series “El Soffara” to child actor Omar Sherif, in recognition of his role in the series “Taht El Wesaya”.
